Veeam VMware: vSAN online health alarm 'vSAN configuration for LSI-3108 based controller'
This monitor tracks alarms fired when you run vSAN with RAID controllers based on the LSI 3108 chipset and need to perform vSAN and ESXi configuration.
In case the VMware vSAN cluster uses LSI 3108-series controllers, it is recommended that you complete a number of configuration actions to ensure stable performance of vSAN. If you do not implement these recommendations, this could result in vSAN instability and disk-failure behavior. For more information, see this VMware KB article.
To use vSAN online health checks, you must participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program.
This is a know VMware issue with LSI 3108-based controllers. To learn how to perform the required vSAN and ESXi configuration, follow the instructions provided in this VMware KB article.
For more information on troubleshooting Virtual SAN issues, see VMware Docs.
