Summary

This indicates that the URL in the folder shortcut file was pointing to an unknown URL (other than Enterprise Vault Search).

Causes

The URL in the folder shortcut file was not pointing to Enterprise Vault Search. The correct URL is http://ev_server/EnterpriseVault/search/shell.aspx. If there is a mismatch, Enterprise Vault considers the URL as unknown and logs this event.

Resolutions

No resolution is required. This event only warns that file is not as expected. The File System archiving task updates the URL in the next run.
