Resolutions

On startup, each Archiving, Journaling, and Public Folder task tries to communicate with Exchange Server to see if the Exchange Directory Service exists. If the service does exist then the task assumes it is communicating with Exchange 5.5, otherwise it assumes Exchange 2000.

Do the following:

Check that the Enterprise Vault server has connectivity to Microsoft Exchange.
Restart the failing task.
