Description

The power jumper in the specified blade server is not present. The blade server must either have a power jumper or be attached to an I/O Expansion Blade to power up.

Causes

The specified blade server detects that the power jumper is not present.

Implications

The specified blade server does not power on.

Resolutions

Perform these steps:

  1. If the blade server does not have an I/O expansion blade installed, verify that the power jumper is correctly installed in power connector J164.
  2. Reattach the I/O expansion blade.
