Description

The real-time clock battery for the specified component on the specified blade server has failed.

Causes

The battery voltage sensor in the blade detects that the real-time clock battery voltage is in a critical range.

Implications

When this happens, the sensor sends an alert to the management module to generate this event.

Resolutions

Perform these steps:

  1. Reseat the battery.
  2. Replace the battery.

Refer to the Problem Determination and Service Guide for the specified blade server type for information about reseating and replacing the battery.
