Description

The service processor on the specified blade server detects that the Blade Expansion Module reaches or exceeds the fault threshold.

Causes

The voltage of the blade expansion module (BEM) is at or above the fault threshold.

Implications

The management module generates this event.

Resolutions

Perform these steps:

  1. Check the room ambient temperature to ensure that it is within the operating specifications for the chassis.
  2. verify that all fan or blower modules are running. Replace fan modules if necessary.
  3. sure that a device or filler is installed in each bay in the front and rear of the chassis, and verify that there is nothing covering the bays. Any missing components can cause a major reduction in airflow for the blade server.
