Knowledge Article: ID B08238801: Power module %d 48V under voltage fault

Description

The voltage in the specified power module is below the fault threshold for the nominal voltage output, which is +48V.

Causes

The advanced management module detects that the specified power module is below the nominal voltage output.

Implications

A nominal output voltage below 48V generates this event.

Resolutions

Perform these steps:

  1. Reseat the power module.

Note: Before reseating or replacing a power module, verify that you have enough power modules in the chassis to power the remaining components in the chassis. Otherwise, components might power off, which can disrupt BladeCenter system operations.

  2. If this error persists or continues to occur, replace the power module.
