Description
Voltage of I/O board standby power supply whose nominal output is +3.3V drops down under recommended voltage.
Causes
There could be a variety of causes that could influence the voltage to exceed a high threshold or fell below a low threshold:
"
obstructed airflow
"
bad component such as IO card, voltage regulator module, Blade expansion unit, etc.
"
bad power supply
"
AC outlet not supplying the correct voltage and current
Implications
A voltage event occurs when the state of a system voltage sensor changes with respect to a manufacturer-defined threshold. The cause of the voltage problem should be identified and addressed at the earliest opportunity.
Resolutions
It is possibly a hardware problem of the I/O board.
