Description
The specified blade server has throttled; it is achieving lower power consumption by temporarily reducing the CPU throughput. This might be because the chassis has been set to acoustic mode (set from the Power Management page of the advanced management module Web interface), there is a problem with a power supply module, or the power supply module has been removed from the chassis.
Causes
The blade server has throttled, either for thermal or power reasons.
Implications
After the condition have been resolved, throttling will no longer occur, and a recovery event will be displayed in the event log.
