Description

The SAS Controller Module has detected a hard disk drive configuration error during drive array configuration.

Causes

You have applied a drive array configuration, the SAS Controller Module will check the hard disk drive configuration.

Implications

When a HDD configuration error occurs, this event is generated.

Resolutions

  1. Log in to SAS RAID controller through either Storage Configuration Manager or through the Command-line interface (CLI) to determine the cause of this event.

  2. See the IBM BladeCenter SAS RAID Controller Module Installation and User"s Guide for more information about resolving the problem. The guide is available on the Web.
Users can try checking the configuration and applying it again.
