Description

The advanced management module cannot set the Open Fabric Manager configuration for the specified blade server.

Causes

The possible causes are an unsupported firmware for the Blade System Management Processor firmware or the blade was not inserted correctly into its slot.

Implications

This event is generated.

Resolutions

Perform these steps:

  1. Power off the blade server, and then power it on again.
  2. Reseat the blade server.
  3. Update the firmware for the service processor on the blade server. You can find firmware on the IBM BladeCenter software and device drivers Web page.
