Description

The attempt to call home the specified event was not successful.

Causes

A variety of conditions can cause a call home attempt to fail, such as an unplugged or defective network cable or a loss of power to the switch.

Implications

A call home feature that cannot call home causes this event.

Resolutions

Perform these steps:

  1. Verify that the proxy settings for Service Advisor are correct.
  2. Attempt to perform a test call home.
  3. Check the network settings.
