Description

The Chassis Management Module (CMM) is unable to determine the CMM bay in which it is installed.

Causes

The Chassis Management Module (CMM) is unable to determine the CMM bay in which it is installed.

Implications

It will default to assume that it is in CMM bay 2.

Resolutions

Complete the following steps:

  1. Do not move the CMM to another bay.
  2. Inspect the CMM connector. If there is no damage, replace the CMM. If there is damage, replace the affected parts.
