Description

The specified node cannot power on because there is not enough power capacity in the power budget.

Causes

The management module detects that there is not enough power capacity in the power budget to power on the specified node.

Implications

The node does not power on.

Resolutions

Use one of the following procedures to enable the node to power on:

  1. Choose a different power-management policy to increase the power budget for the chassis.
  2. Install additional power supplies to increase power capacity, if empty power-supply bays are available.
  3. Shut down other devices in the chassis, such as nodes or I/O modules.
