Description
This Alert is generated when the Remote Supervisor Adapter (RSA) or Advanced System Management (ASM) processor detects that the state of a system component or another management module changed with respect to its manufacturer-defined parameters, but the precise instance cannot be determined.
Causes
A variety of conditions can change the availability of a component. Various factors can cause a component to malfunction or to fail, such as voltage, temperature, or an internal error.

Retain the full recorded logs (such as logs from BIOS or IBM Director Server). Information in the logs such as
the instance ID (or Device ID), when available, can help you to identify the particular
component that experienced the problem.

Make sure your system, I/O cards, storage adapters, and other components have the latest firmware, device drivers, and other updates.

Damaged BIOS or damaged data in CMOS memory can also cause undetermined problems. Clear the CMOS memory and re-flush the system firmware.
