Knowledge Article: ID X0A00001 " The Service Processor (SP) log has been cleared

Description

This warning is generated when the system Service Processor (SP) detected that its error log has been cleared. The SP allows authorized operators and administrators to monitor the system hardware.

Causes

An authorized person has cleared the SP error log, and the error log is now empty.

Implications

The existing error logs were removed. The events that occur from this moment on are recorded.

Resolutions

1.    If this action is unexpected, gather as much information about this action.

2.    Consult the operator or administrator who cleared the error log.

3.    If not already in place, establish a system Service Processor procedure or policy.
