Idera.SQLDM :: 1.0.14.2 (Management Pack)

The function of Idera SQL Diagnostic Manager is to provide database administrators with deep insights into the availability and performance of SQL Servers. The Management Pack ensures that detailed information about SQL Server performance tracked by Diagnostic Manager is integrated into Operations Manager and its application health models.

Idera SQL Diagnostic Manager, as a standalone solution, provides database administrators with deep insights into the availability and performance of SQL Servers. The Idera SQL Diagnostic Manager Management Pack ensures vital SQL Server performance data and alerts monitored and tracked by Diagnostic Manager are integrated into Operations Manager and its application health models..

Configuration

As a best practice, you should import the Windows Server Management Pack for the operating system(s) you are using to host SQL Diagnostic Manager. The SQL Diagnostic Manager Management Pack uses several of the classes created by the Windows Server Management Packs.

The Management Pack requires that the Operations Manager agent have read-access to the SQL Diagnostic Manager SQL Database. This access should be granted prior to installing the Management Pack and enabling discovery of SQL Diagnostic Manager installed instances
