Summary

An ambiguous SMTP proxy was found on some mailboxes in the directory service. The mailbox store cannot map this SMTP proxy to a unique mailbox GUID. This event is caused by having duplicate proxies ([email protected], for example) on two or more objects. Administrators should determine which proxies have duplicates and remove those that are incorrect.

Resolutions

Change SMTP proxy address of one of the mailboxes, so that each mailbox has a unique address.
