Channel Availability State Monitor

Summary

This monitor checks the current state of the specified channel.

The interface state set to UP only if the link state is UP and administrative state is ENABLED.

This monitor is enabled by default.

Configuration

The following configuration parameters are customizable:

• IntervalSeconds - The recurring interval of time in seconds in which to run the script (the default value is set to 300 seconds).

• SyncTime - The synchronization time specified by using a 24-hour format. No default value specified.

• Debug - When true writes more info in events log. Default value is false.

• CacheExpirationFactor - Cache expiration factor. Default value is 1.0.

• Skip States - The list of states for which monitoring will be skipped. For state matching regular expression is used. To combine more than one value use | char as value separator, or to disable this feature enter some non existing state.

• Healthy States - The list of states which causes health state. For state matching regular expression is used. For example, current interface state has UP, DOWN, PARTIAL-UP values. If the alert is expected for DOWN state only the healthy value needs to set to UP|PARTIAL-UP or .*UP.
