Clustered Data ONTAP MetroCluster: Health Monitor

DataONTAP.Cluster.MetroCluster.MetroCluster.HealthMonitor (UnitMonitor)

The MetroCluster Health Monitor checks the health status of a MetroCluster configuration’s major components such as cluster nodes, aggregates, replication, and LIFs. The possible state value of the MCC components is either OK or Warning. The Warning state from any of the components will generate critical alert in the Operation Manager.

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

The MetroCluster Health Monitor checks the health status of a MetroCluster configuration’s major components such as cluster nodes, aggregates, replication, and LIFs. The possible state value of the MCC components is either OK or Warning. The Warning state from any of the components will generate critical alert in the Operation Manager.

Resolutions

Inspect the contents of the alert to determine its cause. Alert details contain the cluster and component name of the object in a warning state. Depending on which cluster component caused the alert, refer to the troubleshooting section of the clustered Data ONTAP documentation to bring the node, aggregate, LIF, or replication to a normal state.
