Unable to determine the redundancy status of the chassis intrusion sensor. | Close the chassis. |
The <module name> in slot <slot number> is open. | Close the Storage disk tray identified in the message. |
A secure mode violation detected. | Check system logs for intrusion attempts, and ensure strong password policies. |
User password violation detected. | Check system logs for intrusion attempts, and ensure strong password policies. |
The network boot password violation detected. | Check system logs for intrusion attempts, and ensure strong password policies. |
A password violation detected. | Check system logs for intrusion attempts, and ensure strong password policies. |
An Out-of-band password violation detected. | Check system logs for intrusion attempts, and ensure strong password policies. |
Critical
If one or more intrusion sensor is in Critical state, Causes/resolutions for Critical condition:

The chassis is open. | Close the chassis. Check system logs. |
The drive bay is open. | Close the drive bay. Check system logs. |
The I/O card area is open. | Close the I/O card area. Check system logs. |
The processor area is open. | Close the processor area. Check system logs. |
The LAN is disconnected. | If unintentional, connect network cable. |
Unauthorized docking is detected. | Check removable hardware components for correct installation. Review installation documentation. |
The fan area is open. | Close the fan area. Check system logs. |
The chassis is open while the power is on. | Close the chassis. Check system logs. |
The chassis is open while the power is off. | Close the chassis and verify hardware inventory. Check system logs. |
Chassis intrusion sensor may have failed. | Replace the chassis intrusion sensor. For more information, contact your service provider. |
The <module name> in slot <slot number> is opened for more than 3 minutes. | Close the Storage disk tray as it may affect the system performance or may cause hard drives to overheat. Check system logs. |
