Summary

This monitor reports the availability of LUN service nodes in EMC storage systems. In VNX Block and CX4 storage systems, LUN service nodes are storage processors. On VMAX systems, they are storage directors.

Configuration

See the alert for details about the affected storage processor or director and its health state.

Causes

An unhealthy state can occur if the storage processor or director is not installed correctly or the storage processor hardware or software fails.
