Monitor the health status of a Unclassified Storage Port.

Summary

This monitor reports availability of unclassified ports on EMC storage systems.

Configuration

See the alert for details about the affected unclassified port and the health state of the unclassified port.

Causes

An unhealthy state for a unclassified port can occur if a cable is damaged, a cable is disconnected or the port hardware fails.

Resolutions

Check the unclassified cable and confirm the cable is securely connected on both ends. If a cable issue is indicated, try replacing the cable.
