Summary

The Intersite Messaging service using the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) transport has failed to add the SMTP routing domain. This domain is needed by SMTP to accept incoming mail using this name. Other replication partners will receive errors when sending mail to this name until the problem is corrected.

Resolutions

Verify that the SMTP service is installed and functioning correctly. Also, verify that Active Directory Service Interfaces (ADSI) is installed and working on this system. If this event continues to occur, attempt to add the domain manually by using SMTP service manager.
