This rule generates an alert when the ConfigMgr client fails to deploy specified applications.
This monitor checks the application installation status on the Configuration Manager client. If an application fails to install on the client using the Operations Manager agent the monitor generates an alert.
The possible root cause may be:
The content of the package is missing or corrupt.
Failure to download the content from distribution points.
The executable file referred to by the program command-line does not exist.
A failure exit code was returned while installing the application.
Check the Configuration Manager console to see if the content is successfully deployed to the distribution points. Try to redeploy the content to the distribution points.
Check the command-line used and ensure it refers to the correct executable file.
Check the returned error code to figure out the root cause of installation failure.
