Microsoft.ActiveDirectoryFederationServices.2016.TokenAcceptanceSecurityTokenNotYetValidErrorRule (Rule)

Summary

The Federation Service failed to accept the token because the NotBefore attribute for the token that was received has a value that is set to a future time that has not yet occurred.

Causes

The system time on the computer on which the Federation Service is running is not synchronized with the computer on which the request originated.

Resolutions

Verify that the system clock is synchronized.
