Summary

The SSL certificate does not contain all UPN suffix values that exist in the enterprise. Users with UPN suffix values not represented in the certificate will not be able to Workplace-Join their devices.

Causes

The Subject Alternative DNS Names were not added to the certificate request that was used to request the server SSL certificate.

Resolutions

Request a new server SSL certificate and install it in your AD FS Farm. Add the Subject Alternative DNS names that are required for the Device Registration Service. See http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=311954.
