Summary

The Federation Service cannot find the token-signing certificate of the claims provider trust. This will cause token acceptance to fail.

If the same problem does not happen again within 15 minutes, the health state of this monitor will change back to a Green state. A corresponding alert is generated by the alert rule, and it must be resolved manually.

Causes

The claims provider trust configuration is out of date. For example, this event might occur in situations where certificates are configured for manual rollover.

Resolutions

Verify that the claims provider trust configuration is up to date. Specifically, verify that the claims provider trust has the current certificates in its configuration.
