Summary

Token issuance failed because the request specified an assertion consumer service endpoint that was not configured or is not supported by the relying party.

Causes

1. The Assertion Consumer Service is not configured or enabled on the relying party.

2. The Artifact Resolution endpoint is not configured on the STS.

Resolutions

For cause 1 use the AD FS snap-in to configure Assertion Consumer Services with the specified parameters for this relying party. Also, verify whether the artifact resolution service is enabled if the SAML artifact is requested.

For cause 2 Use the AD FS snap-in and navigate to the endpoints node and validate the endpoint of type SAML-ArtifactResolution is enabled.
