The Application Virtualization Streaming Server provides Application Virtualization Clients with package data on demand. Unlike the Application Virtualization Management Server, it does not provide publishing configuration information such as shortcuts and file types, all based on the users' access permissions which is controlled by Active Directory. Publishing information will need to come from an Application Virtualization Management Server, a third party Enterprise Software Distribution system, or manually be provided to the client machines
