Causes

This issue is caused by a mismatch between the model store schema version and the AOS version. It may have been caused by restoring a database backup taken before an update was applied to Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Resolutions

Check that the correct server and database are specified in the server configuration by using the Microsoft Dynamics AX Server Configuration Utility. You can also use the AxUtil Schema command or the Initialize-AXModelStore Windows PowerShell cmdlet to update the database to the correct schema version.
