IIS Admin Service Monitor

Microsoft.Exchange2007.Mailbox.ServiceMonitor.IISADMIN (UnitMonitor)

This service enables this server to administer Web and FTP services. If this service is stopped, the server will be unable to run Web, FTP, NNTP, or SMTP sites or configure IIS. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

Summary

This monitor uses Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to check the status of the IIS Admin service and generates an alert when the service is set to start automatically and is not running.

Note that an alert is not generated when the service is disabled and a healthy state will be shown.
