Summary

This rule collects this performance counter for reporting/troubleshooting purposes for the counter: PERF_DATACOLLECTION_UDC_MESSAGE_DROPPED

The total number of messages dropped due to server overload, internal errors or Storage Service connectivity issues.

Causes

Too many requests, or Storage Service is not running properly.

Resolutions

Check whether the Lync Server Front-End is overloaded, and ensure local Storage Service database is not full.
