Summary

This rule collects this performance counter for reporting/troubleshooting purposes for the counter: PERF_PDPTURN_SERVER_AUTHTIMEOUT_FAILURES_SEC

The per-second rate of server connections timing out before receiving an authenticated message.

Causes

Connection from server timed out because it was not authenticated within the specified time.

Resolutions

Check if there are any certificate issues between the machines. Check if this machine is trying to attack by creating connections and consuming resources from Bandwidth Policy Service(Core). If there is an attack, trace the machine and block them at the firewall.
