Microsoft.Linux.SLES.12.OperatingSystem.PercentAvailableMemory.Collection (Rule)

Collection rule for the performance counter Memory\\% Available Memory

Knowledge Base article:

Summary

This rule collects performance data for the Memory\% Available Memory performance counter. The collected values are accessible in performance views and reports.

This metric exposes the total amount of available memory as a percentage of the total memory on the system.

The percentage of available memory value is calculated by comparing the available memory (MemFree, Buffers and Cached) and total physical memory values reported by the operating system.
