Summary

Analysis Services cannot write to the trace output file.

Causes

The trace output file is corrupted.

An application has opened or locked the trace output file.

The hard drive does not have enough free space to handle the data added to the trace event file.

Resolutions

Delete the current trace output file and start the trace again

Close the application that opened or locked the trace output file

Make sure there is enough free space to handle additional data to the output trace file
