Summary

An error interrupted SQL Server Service Broker while it was inserting a message to the target queue.

Causes

This is caused when a session key was corrupted before it was encrypted by the sender. The error that interrupted the SQL Server Service Broker is identified in the Windows application log as MSSQLSERVER event ID 20085. The log also identifies the state that the process was left in after the error.

Resolutions

This may indicate a serious condition in SQL Server. Contact Microsoft Product Support and Services.
