Summary

I/O completion ports are the mechanism by which Microsoft SQL Server uses a pool of threads that was created when the service was started to process asynchronous I/O requests. The message will specify what node the completion port is not yielding on.

Resolutions

This error will resolve itself when the I/O completion port listener returns from executing the I/O completion routine. If the error persists or repeats, contact you product support provider.
