Summary

Failed to start a sub-process (a parallel query or parallel I/O) because no threads are available or too many sub-processes executing.

Resolutions

Use the sp_configure system stored procedure to reset the "max worker threads" configuration option to increase the number of allowable threads, or reduce the number of parallel operations (sub-processes) running on the system.
