Summary

This monitor is a rollup monitor for all hosts contained in a Windows Server 2008 failover cluster that has been added to Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) as a host cluster. If the monitor is in a critical state (Red), one or more hosts managed by the VMM server is not available.

Causes

An unhealthy state for this object indicates that one or more hosts in the host cluster are not available.

Resolutions

To find the cause of the unhealthy state, use the Health Explorer to drill down to the monitors for individual hosts, and use the knowledge on those monitors to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
