Knowledge Base article:

Summary

This is a dependency rollup monitor to roll up the health state of the network interface used by the NLB node. The purpose of this monitor is to ensure that problems with the network adapter affect the health state of the NLB node as the network interface is one of the core dependencies of NLB. The health of the network interface is actually determined by the Windows Base OS management pack.
