Summary

Monitors that the DFS Replication service is able to successfully register the WMI providers. If this operation fails, replication will be disabled until the problem is resolved.

Causes

The DFS Replication service is not able to successfully register the WMI providers.

Resolutions

Verify that the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service is set to automatic start and is running.

Check the Application and System event logs to ensure that there are no systemic problems with the server.
