Summary

Monitors that the Inter-site Messaging service is running on this domain controller. This service enables messages to be exchanged between computers running Windows Server sites.

If the service is stopped, messages will not be exchanged, nor will site routing information be calculated for other services.

Causes

The Inter-site Messaging service is not running.

Resolutions

Verify that the Inter-site Messaging service is set to automatic start and is running.
