Causes

Possible causes include the following:

Resolutions

Ensure that the domain controller is online and functioning correctly.

Ensure that DNS is properly resolving the domain controllers IP address.

Check that dcdiag is not returning any problems.

Check that repadmin is not showing any problems with AD replication.

Ensure that the DNS Servers for all network adapters are correct.

Ensure that the DNS Servers for all network adapters are online and functioning correctly.

Ensure that there are no problems with the network adapters.
