Restart the LPD service
Restart the LPD service.
Possible resolutions include:
Restart the Line Print Daemon (LPD) service. To do this, open the Services snap-in from the Administrative Tools folder, select TCP/IP Print Server, and then click the Restart Service toolbar button.
Close any unnecessary applications, and stop any unnecessary services.
Open Task Manager by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESCAPE.Click the Processes tab, and then click the Memory heading to sort processes by memory consumption.Look for any processes that are consuming excessive amounts of memory. If you want to end any such processes, select them and then click End Process.Click the CPU heading to sort processes by central processor unit (CPU) utilization.Look for any processes that are consuming excessive amounts of processing time. If you want to end any such processes, select them and then click End Process.
