Summary

Performs the WQL query “Select Name, Shutdown, Paused from MicrosoftDNS_Zone” in the WMI namespace “root\MicrosoftDNS”

Configuration

Interval Seconds: The interval at which this monitor performs the WMI query.

Causes

Critical: Shutdown = True

Warning: Shutdown = False and Paused = True

Healthy: Shutdown = False and Paused = False

Resolutions

Start the zone in the DNS management tool.
