A drive has an unsupported interposer firmware version.
What Caused the Problem?
A drive is not supported by the storage array because the interposer firmware does not support a drive capacity greater than 2 TB. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.
Important Notes
You can either replace the drive with a drive of 2 TB or less, or you can upgrade the interposer firmware.
The minimum required level of interposer firmware for the drive's capacity is 16xx.
Recovery Steps
1 | Determine whether to use this drive in the storage array.
| ||||||
2 | In the Array Management Window, select the Upgrade > Drive/ATA Translator Firmware menu option.
3 | Follow the "Download Drive and ATA Translator Firmware" wizard to upgrade the firmware.
4 | Click the Recheck button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your Technical Support Representative. |
