What Caused the Problem?

A drive is not supported by the storage array because the interposer firmware does not support a drive capacity greater than 2 TB. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.

Determine whether to use this drive in the storage array.

If...

Then...

You want to use this drive in the storage array and upgrade the firmware

Go to step 2.

You do not want to use this drive in the storage array

Replace the drive with a new drive of 2 TB or less and then go to step 4.

In the Array Management Window, select the

Upgrade > Drive/ATA Translator Firmware

menu option.

Follow the "Download Drive and ATA Translator Firmware" wizard to upgrade the firmware.

Click the

Recheck

button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your Technical Support Representative.
