A snapshot rollback operation has paused active data copy.
What Caused the Problem?
A snapshot rollback operation on the storage array is paused. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.
Important Notes
If the associated snapshot is in a Failed state, the rollback operation must be cancelled and it is not possible to resume the rollback operation from the failed snapshot.
If the associated snapshot is in an Optimal state, it may be possible to resume the rollback operation.
The storage array will remain in a Needs Attention state until the problem is resolved.
Recovery Steps
1 | Check the status of the snapshot identified in the Recovery Guru Details area to determine the appropriate recovery steps to fix this problem.
| ||||||||||||
2 | Check if there are any problems reported in the Recovery Guru Summary area that are related to the base and repository volumes identified in the Details area.
| ||||||||||||
3 |
| ||||||||||||
4 | In the Recovery Guru, click Save As to save the recovery procedure to a file on your local workstation. The remaining recovery steps are no longer accessible in the Recovery Guru after you complete step 5.
5 | Cancel the rollback operation. NOTE: Canceling the rollback operation will cause the data on the base volume to be unknown until it is restored from backup media or another snapshot.
6 | Restore the data for the base volumes from backup media. If there is another snapshot containing an appropriate point-in-time image, the rollback can be re-attempted from this snapshot instead of restoring the data from the backup media. |
