What Caused the Problem?

A snapshot volume has failed. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.

If...

Then...

You want to revive the snapshot volume  

Perform the following steps:

a

Highlight the affected snapshot volume identified in the Details area.

b

Select the

Copy Services > Snapshot Volume > Advanced > Revive

menu option in the Array Management Window.

c

Follow the instructions in the dialog, and then click the

Revive

button.

d

Go to step 2.

You want to delete the snapshot volume 

Perform the following steps:

a

Highlight the affected snapshot volume identified in the Details area.

b

Select the

Copy Services > Snapshot Volume > Delete

menu option in the Array Management Window.

c

Follow the instructions in the dialog, and then click the

Delete

button.

d

Go to step 2.

Click the

Recheck

button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your Technical Support Representative.
