Monitor REC_ARVM_REPOSITORY_OVER_WARN_THRESHOLD (415)

NetAppESeries.FailureID_0415_Monitor (UnitMonitor)

Repository utilization for a specific Async Mirror Group member has exceeded the warning threshold. Note this is a "sticky" condition until the user acknowledges it via clearAsyncMirrorGroupMemberFaultIndication

Knowledge Base article:

Mirrored Volume Repository - Threshold Exceeded

What Caused the Problem?

A mirrored volume's repository capacity has exceeded the warning threshold. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.

Important Notes

Recovery Steps

1

To diagnose potential problems with the mirroring configuration, it is recommended to do the following:

Evaluate the repository capacity of the mirrored volume to determine if the repository capacity should be increased

If the repository capacity should be increased, perform the following steps:

a

On the

Storage and Copy Services

tab in the Array Management Window, highlight the mirrored pair node in the left-hand pane under the affected mirrored volume.

b

Select the

Copy Services > Mirroring > Asynchronous Mirroring > Mirrored Pair > Overall Repository > Increase Capacity

menu option.

c

Follow the instructions in the dialog, and then click the

Increase Capacity

button.

d

Go to step 2.

Ensure that the repository warning threshold is set at a reasonable value for the mirroring configuration

To evaluate and make changes to the threshold setting, perform the following steps:

a

On the Storage and Copy Services tab in the Array Management Window, highlight the affected asynchronous mirror group.

b

Select the

Copy Services > Mirroring > Asynchronous Mirroring > Mirror Group > Change > Synchronization Settings

menu option.

c

Evaluate the repository warning threshold and make changes if necessary.

d

Go to step 2.

2

Click the

Clear

button to clear this notification.

3

Click the

Recheck

button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, reevaluate the repository capacity and repository warning threshold. If you feel the mirroring configuration is functioning properly, contact your Technical Support Representative.
